Through research into systems of education and cultural conditioning, I examine the ethical consequences of using animals as a food source.

The current processes that provide humans with animal food products primarily inform my work. I am intrigued by the disconnected relationship with the processes behind the consumption of meat that we are accustomed to in the UK and the reasoning behind the lack of education about animal food products.

I often collaborate with children in schools and workshops to portray their knowledge and understanding of the methods involved when turning an animal into a food product. It becomes apparent during these workshops that many children hold misconceptions around the meat production industry, which have possibly originated from learning about traditional farms rather than modern day factory farms.
